So often, who we truly are gets lost in the sea of others’ expectations, the roles we hold, and our perception of our capabilities. I am passionate about work rooted in identity exploration; helping you get to know and appreciate your authentic self. We’ll work together to find tools and strategies for that self to grow and thrive.
Compassion, empathy, non-judgement, and humor are at the core of my clinical work. I believe in addressing the interconnected systems of the brain and body. I practice from a trauma-informed lens; and frequently incorporate DBT skills and concepts in my sessions. I also have experience utilizing Exposure Therapy for the treatment of OCD & anxiety disorders.
I work well with adolescents and adults, LGBTQIA+ individuals, those who have a wide emotional range, and people who have experienced religious trauma.
